BUCHAREST | The Romanian National Television management board was dismissed today in the plenary meeting of the romanian Parliament after the 2011 activity report of the public broadcaster was rejected. Instead of Lazescu Alexandru, which was the leader of the board, the romanian authorities will name an interim president.
UPDATE: Radu Calin Cristea, writer, essayist and journalist is the new interim president of the Romanian National Television management board. He was a collaborator and editor of the Radio’s “Free Europe” (1990-2002) “Romanian News” . Also, he was the director of the Museum of Romanian Literature in Bucharest.
