ZALAU | A shocking discovery where a man who stood on the roof of a building because it had some problems with the insulation discovered a human leg, almost mummified. The police claim that it could be the leg of a woman who died after an accident occurred in September 2011, when he was hit by a car. The police is allready investigating this case.
“An almost mummified human foot was found today on the roof of an apartment building in the city of Zalau by a tenant who had climbed on the roof because he was having problems with it’s apartment’s insulation. The citizen called the Emergency Number 112 and Salaj County Police began the investigations to determine the origin of the leg and how it reached the roof. The leg is cut below the knee. For obtaining more information, the leg was taken to the Forensic Institute, where forensic experts are investigating the odd finding”, the police spokesman told Antena3.

The foot is likely to be of a woman who was fatally injured on the night of September 5th, 2011, in Zalau, while crossing a boulevard near the pedestrian crossing, but not on it like she should have. The impact was so powerful that she died instantly and that her legs were cut off. One was found in a garbage bin, while the second leg was never found.
