BUCHAREST | National Meteorological Administration issued a forecast on Monday informing that from Tuesday to Friday the weather is warm throughout the country and that some areas will have temperatures of 35-36 degrees and the temperature-humidity index will slightly exceed the critical number of 80 in local areas in the plains, hills and plateaus.
According to the meteorologists, between June 19 an 22, the weather will be warm throughout the country, mainly in the afternoons, when they will often go to the record maximum temperatures of 35 to 36 degrees Celsius. The temperature-humidity index (THI) will easily reach and exceed the threshold of thermal discomfort 80 on the plains, hills and plateaus.
The weather will be hot in Bucharest as well in the afternoons, where the temperature-humidity index reaches the threshold of 80. The sky will be mostly clear and the wind will blow low to moderate. Maximum temperature will be 34 – 35 degrees, and the minimum will be around 19 degrees at night.
