Doctors confirm that former romanian PM Adrian Nastase tried to commit suicide to avoid prison

BUCHAREST | Adrian Nastase tried to commit suicide on Wednesday night, after the police came to his home, causing himself a wound in the neck with a gun, medical sources said. Adrian Nastase has a latero-cervical wound near the jugular vein produced by a fire gun of nine millimeters caliber, medical sources told the press.

Adrian Nastase asked the policemam for the permission to take some books from his office, according to sources cited. Former prime minister took the time and had attempted suicide with a gun. One of the officers tried to stop him, but former prime minister was wounded in the neck. The ambulance took Nastase to the Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest. After the ambulance left, his lawyer came at the house. He came in fast and didn’t made any statements.
