Rafael Nadal eliminated in the second round by ATP number 100

LONDON | Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, No. 2 in the ATP, was eliminated on Thursday in the second round of Wimbledon, by the occupant of the 100 position in the ATP rankings, Czech player Lukas Rosol.

Nadal, who is number two worldwide, was defeated by Rosol in five sets, score 6-7 (9/11), 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Rafael Nadal hasn’t been eliminated in the second round of a Grand Slam tournament since 2005, when he lost at this stage also at Wimbledon.
